TechPeaks and EIT ICT Labs Kick Off The Outreach Europe Programme in Split, Croatia

This year's Outreach Europe programme by EIT ICT Labs and Techeaks will kick off in Split, Croatia, on March 18th, with an event focused on startups and students. The aim of Outreach is to introduce young people with different possibilities for education, startup funding and acceleration.

This year’s Outreach Europe programme by EIT ICT Labs and Techeaks will kick off in Split, Croatia, on March 18th, with an event focused on startups and students. The aim of Outreach is to introduce young people with different possibilities for education, startup funding and acceleration.

The event is organized as two separate tracks, both taking place at University of Split campus. The first one will take place at 9 AM at the University Library, whereby EIT ICT will present the EIT ICT Labs Master School, an exclusive joint initiative by the leading technical universities and business schools in Europe.

The “Start-up Activation” lecture is scheduled for 2:30 PM in the Great Hall of The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB) and TechPeaks accelerator is offering first hand information on TechPeaks, the People Accelerator and Business Development Accelerator activities through the EIT ICT Labs network in Europe and beyond. There will also be Q&A sessions, as well as individual meetings that will allow everybody interested in the programme to get tailored feedback.

With the Outreach Programme, EIT ICT Labs aims to bring together scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs in one place, creating synergy between science, education and economy in order to spark innovation in the ICT sector and make Europe the leader in the industry.

US Outbrain acquires Slovenian Zemanta

At their 10th anniversary, the Slovenian high-tech company Zemanta d.o.o. announced that it was entirely acquired by Outbrain from the US, the world’s largest premium content discovery platform.
