I never imagined I would spend the weekend like this. When I agreed to participate in the Lean Startup Drill, which was held in the Core Hub in Zagreb, it all seemed very exciting. I would live and work as a startup for 24 hours, instead of just writing about them. On Friday, around 5 pm, I was already exhausted from my job and all I wanted was to go home and cover myself with a blanket and relax. But, the real work was just beginning. Give your idea 24h to survive – that was the name of the event. Easy for the idea, but would I survive?

When we were invited last year to Collision conference in Las Vegas with our project MemoAngel, we were at the same time invited to the qualifications for the final event of Echelon Asia in Singapore which gathered various projects with the potential on the Asian market. Even though we couldn’t participate on Echelon, due to other commitments, we stayed in touch with the organizers (company e27 from Singapore) for potential cooperation in the future. Thus, in the end of February, this time we have received an invitation to participate on Asia Beat 2016 held in Xiamen, a town located on the southeast coast of China, across Taiwan.
You've probably heard about Bellabeat, FlyKly, or Layer? Well, three years ago they didn't exist! Now they are at the top of their industries, but how did they do it? Was it enough only to have the right idea or did they also need to have knowledge to conduct business in today’s competitive environment?
