Prior to his position at About.Me, he founded two startups which eventually failed, however he learned quite a few things which helped him later on in his career.
Much anticipated Spark.Me conference which is taking place in Splendid hotel, Montenegro was opened by Natasa Djukanovic from Domain.Me who welcomed everybody to the venue. Over 200 people from all around the Balkans showed up to listed to a number of foreign speakers - leaders and entrepreneurs from world's most popular startups such as About.Me, Skype, etc.

The preselection process for Spark.ME StartUp Competition is over! There were a number of applications from 10 different countries but unfortunately not all of them could make the battlefield. 10 Startups will present at the HOT Spark.ME stage on September 26 & 27 in Budva, and compete for the trip to TCDisrupt NY, 2014. The startups are: Jellynote, DataMaid, Cruise.me, Zzzzapp Wireless ltd, Bark, Social Spot, TourVia.me, TruckTrack, StreamArena and LovelyHeroku.
HackFwd, a European evergreen pre-seed accelerator founded in 2010 by Lars Hinrichs, started its story with a hello. Now it ends it with a kthxbai. Yes, the fund has stopped accepting new startups three years, three months and three days after it began supporting Europe’s most passionate geeks. LAUNCHub, Bulgarian 9 million euro seed fund, kicked off the business season early in September with five new companies on board. Layer, the slovenian-american startup that we’ve already written about, has won Techcrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield in San Francisco, at the same time confirming a seed investment of 1.5 million dollars from a number of funds, including Michael Arrington’s CrunchFund and Bloomberg Beta.
