First Startup Sauna Warmup in Croatia: Find Out the Brutal Truth about Your Startup

Startup SaunaStartup Sauna, a non-profit organization for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs in Northern and Eastern Europe and Russia, organizes the first ever Startup Sauna Warmup in Croatia, a one day coaching session where participants can get a brutal feedback about their projects.

As organizers state, after a very successful Startup Sauna Warmup in Budapest in Fall 2012 and having invited three Hungarian teams into Startup Sauna Program, they noticed how amazing startups and people are bubbling under in the CEE region. Having seen the latest efforts from the local startup community, Startup Sauna wants to chip in, bringing in four coaches (serial entrepreneurs and investors) from its own rosters and pair them up with local startup experts.

The day is open for startups that are looking for brutally honest feedback and “qualify” for the below specifications:

  • Have an idea that has potential to scale globally
  • Team that can execute what they promise
  • Have a prototype ready
  • Have raised 0-500K € of funding.

Even if your startup wouldn’t qualify for all of these, organizers say that their feedback and coaches’ connections are useful no matter if you have a killer idea or a bit more established startup.

The event will be held on 26th of March in Zagreb Entrepreneurship Incubator. After the coaches present themselves, startups will have a chance for three minute pitches. In the afternoon, there will be 1 on 1 coaching with selected startups.

Startup Sauna has organized over 50 Warmups in Northern/CE Europe & Russia and the coaches have seen more than 500 startups face to face so they know what they’re about and what our region’s startups need. The winners of the Warmup have a chance to get invited into the Startup Sauna Program in Finland starting mid-May.

Preliminary application deadline is 17th of March, so hurry up!
