One of the hottest European Social Media events this year is about to take place in Prague. October 30 is the day when the Social Marketers Summit takes place and gathers some of the greatest speakers in one place. The top Social Media trends currently rolling within the digital world will show their incredible importance outside their common meaning.

One of the hottest European Social Media events this year is about to take place in Prague. October 30 is the day when the Social Marketers Summit takes place and gathers some of the greatest speakers in one place. The top Social Media trends currently rolling within the digital world will show their incredible importance outside their common meaning.

The Summit will provide the visitors with a true insight of the interaction-fueled online communication channels in their high-speed spreading. This contagious, worldwide phenomenon called Social Media will have its one-day break in Prague in order to catapult trends, ideas and knowledge among the digital scene of today.

Pavel Hacker from the digital agency BrandzFriendz will host the Summit again. He confirms the event will highlight a bigger picture of „Crossing the lines“ when it comes to Social Media.

Ever since we first started the Summit in 2009, we’ve been listening to our visitors and speakers, taking their feedback into a consideration. That way, we aim to please both sides in order to make a unique event which gathers more and more visitors each year.

 Gamification and Social Media

This year’s topics are reflecting the current trends in gamification and Social Media with other platforms, devices and services. Gamification as the latest, most-wanted communication model will be presented by the South-African’s Senior Researcher of TNS Global, Kyle Findlay. Kris Hoet, head of the digital department of Duval Guillaume will present some of his agency’s top campaigns such as the most shared advertisement ever Dramatic Surprise on a Quiet Square

We choose our speakers according to how influencing they are on the chosen subject but also how well presenters they are. As for the Czech speakers, it’s important to choose the ones with either an outstanding work or a Czech-based project with an international impact, like Geewa or SocialBakers. As WOMM plays more important role every year, we are happy to see speakers contacting us with their inquiry to speak.

The Summit continues its tradition in hosting the Swedish speakers who are, by far, the masters of modern marketing communications. Ted Perrson from Great Works will have a speech presented by keywords Absolut Vodka, Social Media thinking, offline vs. online. TNS Asia will talk about the “Czech online” subject with all the Social Media trends in Czech Republic. The visitors will be presented with some of the most surprising case studies, such as the biggest Google+ account owned by the AC Sparta Prague.

The cinema Atlas is the hot spot of the Summit. For early birds, the registration starts at 8.15. The conference is expected to end around 5pm after which the official after-party is going to entertain the networking crowd. Stay tuned on Netocratic for other Social Marketers Summit‘s news soon.

US Outbrain acquires Slovenian Zemanta

At their 10th anniversary, the Slovenian high-tech company Zemanta d.o.o. announced that it was entirely acquired by Outbrain from the US, the world’s largest premium content discovery platform.
