Startups, Apply For SEP Matching Event And Get Hitched With Corporate Executives

Startup Europe Partnership, an integrated pan-European platform aimed at helping the best startups emerge from local ecosystems and scale-up, is organizing a Matching Event on October 3, where selected startups will meet executives from the SEP member corporations, like Telefonica, Microsoft, Orange, BBVA, Unipol Group and Telecom Italia.
Startup Europe Partnership, an integrated pan-European platform aimed at helping the best startups emerge from local ecosystems and scale-up, is organizing a Matching Event on October 3, where selected startups will meet executives from the SEP member corporations, like Telefonica, Microsoft, Orange, BBVA, Unipol Group and Telecom Italia.
The goal of SEP is to turn the growing, albiet fragmented European startup ecosystems into a unified one, by connecting the startup communities from different European countries as well matching up-and-coming startups with corporations that can help them grow.
On of the events dedicated to this cause is a special Startup Europe Partnership matching event hosted by Maker Faire, a closed-door 1:1 meeting event where the founders of the most interesting makers companies will meet executives from the afore mentioned SEP member corporations.
The purpose of the meetings is to identify business development opportunities for the corporations and amkers companies alike, through procurement contracts or opportunities for strategic investments or acquisition.
To that end, 10 companies will be selected that best suit the requirements identified by the member corporates. The SEP is looking for revenue generating established businesses working in the IoT domain, with particular focus on Home Automation, Connected devices, Robots & Drones, Education, Wearable, Wellness and Healthcare, and Transportation.
The event will take place on Friday, October 3 2014 in Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Italy. All companies that match the criteria are invited to apply by September 5, 2014.
