Seedcamp is Coming to Budapest in October: Application Deadline is September 16th!

The leading European startup accelerator, Seedcamp, will be holding its first ever Seedcamp startup event in Budapest. While Seedcamp has been present in Central and Eastern Europe in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Prag, this is the first time it will hold an event in the capital of Hungary - in partnership with the European Entrepreneurship Foundation.

Seedcamp is coming to Budapest!

The leading European startup accelerator, Seedcamp, will be holding its first ever Seedcamp startup event in Budapest. While Seedcamp has been present in Central and Eastern Europe in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Prag, this is the first time it will hold an event in the capital of Hungary – in partnership with the European Entrepreneurship Foundation.

Seedcamp will choose 20 startups that apply to appear in front of an expert audience of startup mentors and try win the heart’s of Seedcamp investors, getting 50.000 Euros for 8-10 percent equity in the company. Other notable startups that have joined Seedcamp from the region include Vox.io and Zemanta, as well as UberVU and GIS Cloud.

Get seed funding from Seedcamp!

Mentors should, as with previous Seedcamp events (formely called Mini Seedcamps) include entrepreneurs, investors and experts both from Hungary, the region as well as Europe, specifically, representitves of Seecamp’s sponsors and investors such as Google, Yandex and Paypal. Startups that wish to participate, expand their network and get some seed funding can apply through the official Seedcamp landing page until September 16th – if you’re a startup in Central and Eastern Europe and want some “smart money”, you should definitely apply.
