Belgrade-based Nordeus has confirmed to Netocratic its new partnership with Bwin.party, the world’s largest publicly traded online gambling company, to produce a completely new social gaming game based on the success of Nordeus’ Top Eleven, the most popular sports game in the world with over 6 million unique monthly players. Nordeus’ and Bwin’s goal? To become leaders in the social gambling space – from Europe.
Bwin owns numerous gambling sites, among them Bwin and PartyPoker, but is looking to expand into the social gaming space. Bwin.party’s Co-CEO Norbert Teufelberger said that there is great demand for social sport games – as evidenced by Top Eleven. He hopes that Nordeus and Bwin can be the two European companies most likely to become “Clear leaders in social sports gaming.”

For its part, Nordeus was looking for a good partner with experience in internet gambling, said CEO Branko Milutinovic. With the feedback of millions of their customers, Nordeus knew that internet gambling was a good direction for them and that partnering with Bwin, the market leader in online sports betting, will them them achieve the goal of creating another successful app.
Nordeus’ development and product experience and Bwin’s real-money betting expertise should make the solution they are building quite interesting to non-gamblers as well. Lets see how “social” sports gambling can actually get… With Top Eleven growing from 3 to 6 million players in just one year – the odds are indeed in their favor.
