LAUNCHub’s New Application Run: Seed Funding Up To 200K Euro

Bulgarian LAUNCHub Seed Fund recently announced the start of its new dedicated round for applications for seed funding ending June 9, 2014. The fund's team is now looking for more teams to welcome on board the LAUNCHub family of 41 startups and more than 120 founders.

Bulgarian LAUNCHub Seed Fund recently announced the start of its new dedicated round for applications for seed funding ending June 9, 2014. The fund’s team is now looking for more teams to welcome on board the LAUNCHub family of 41 startups and more than 120 founders.

Team, vision, traction – LAUNCHub’s expectations are to meet cohesive and committed teams with a good understanding of the markets and consumers they are addressing. Applicants are strongly encouraged to present all relevant information on traction achieved so far, first customer reviews, feedback and metrics on their products and services. Previous experience with accelerator programmes or in raising angel money is welcome. This dedicated application run is aimed at companies targeting larger amounts of financing up to 200K Euro.

The culmination of the LAUNCHub funding selection will be the special Selection event in Zagreb, Croatia, during July 3-5, 2014, with Netocratic as a strategic partner, where shortlisted teams will have the chance to pitch their ideas live and get approved for seed investment. Successful applicants will be offered funding of up to 200K Euro in exchange of equity.

US Outbrain acquires Slovenian Zemanta

At their 10th anniversary, the Slovenian high-tech company Zemanta d.o.o. announced that it was entirely acquired by Outbrain from the US, the world’s largest premium content discovery platform. The sum that Outbrain paid for Zemanta’s technology, products and team remains a business secret, and Zemanta’s co-founders Andraž Tori and Boštjan Špetič will join Outbrain.
