Kolektiva, largest group buying website in Balkans presented their service to the audience at the OMGcommerce which is taking place in Zagreb’s Double Tree Hotel. Anil Shrestha, marketing manager from Kolektiva Slovenia, talked about different ways to attract customers and make them loyal.
And by all means Kolektiva definitely knows how to do just that. With more than 1 million registered users, they are the largest e-commerce in the region. They are sending more than 30 million emails each month and have more than 1,5 million subscribers. Almost 50 percent of the total revenue is coming from Slovenia, and the reason they’ve succeeded is partly because of their daily deal model.
Other reason is their lead model which is being implemented. Throughout the different services, they are attracting new users and motivating them to come to their website. They are heavily relying on Google advertising, and are serving different content for different countries.
Also, a major hit among the users are games where prize is included. For a referral to a friend, and a short survey, they can win a certain prize. When Kolektiva was doing a Crocks game, they had more than 35,000 contestants competing for a prize. This game generated lots of positive content, and a large number of new users.
Anil concluded the lecture by saying that the key to making a successful group website is to make sure that the quality of the content is always on a very high level.
