Let’s Go To IDCEE 2014 And Talk About Mobile, Charity, Social Entrepreneurship, Hardware…

That is right – the 5th edition of IDCEE will take place on October 9-10 in Kiev. Traditionally, it will host the biggest Startup Alley in the region (150 startups) and hold Startup Competition with €30,000 total cash prize. The line-up of the anniversary conference will focus on e-health, charity, media, robotics, e-commerce and mobile applications. Social Entrepreneurship Hackathon and Tech Area will be introduced. And Netocratic will be there – moderating a panel discussion on sharing economy and reporting from the scene.

That is right – the 5th edition of IDCEE will take place on October 9-10 in Kiev. IDCEE is a large-scale international event, which annually gathers entrepreneurs and representatives of the global VC funds, angel investors and startups, IT industry leaders and experts, geeks and bloggers in Kiev city. In 5 years it has evolved to one of the top European IT-events: 2,500+ attendees from 45 countries of the world, 80 outstanding speakers, 150 startups at Startup Alley, 120 journalists, 300 VC funds and angels with $30 bn under management.

The IDCEE 2014 program consists of three simultaneous streams – Main Stage, Startup Stage, and Tech Stage. Big emphasis this year is put on charity activities and social entrepreneurship. For the first time IDCEE launches Social Entrepreneurship Hackathon to generate ideas and develop innovative projects to address the most pressing social problems. The best project will get the special award from the professional jury. Moreover, Tech Area will be introduced to support achievements in hardware production industry of the CEE region. It’s going to be a non-traditional expo of products – an interactive zone with simultaneous showcasing of robots, drones, wearables, gadgets etc.
