Attendees will follow hands-on talks on product innovation, business development and newest web & mobile technologies. They will be able to discover the latest global web trends and the impact web innovation is having on global and local businesses. Also, they can meet their regional peers from Central & Eastern Europe and beyond, with participants from 10+ countries present. There will be the best showcase of tech innovation from CEE, with 32 teams pitching live during the event. If you come, you will be able to meet global innovators, entrepreneurs and tech leaders from all around the world and ask them your questions as well as 12 of the best accelerator programs in the world presenting themselves and their success stories.

And same as last year, in parallel to the conference, there will be another edition of the Startup Spotlight orientation program and competition, bringing great connections, hands-on mentoring, pitching sessions and 20k USD cash prizes to the 4 winners, on the course of 4 intense days. All for free, for the best 32 early-stage technology startups in CEE.

US Outbrain acquires Slovenian Zemanta

At their 10th anniversary, the Slovenian high-tech company Zemanta d.o.o. announced that it was entirely acquired by Outbrain from the US, the world’s largest premium content discovery platform. The sum that Outbrain paid for Zemanta’s technology, products and team remains a business secret, and Zemanta’s co-founders Andraž Tori and Boštjan Špetič will join Outbrain. After becoming part of Outbrain Zemanta’s platform will continue to operate as a standalone product.
