Was it a CIA rendition, a kidnapping, an internet craze or an ad for G-Star Raw? Now we can reveal the real story of what happened this month at the famous Abbey Road crossing in London.

That’s right, the team at Happeningo.com decided to skip the facial hair and create a lo-fi Movember video starring Nick “Smooth Deep” Semwogerere, the UK rapper behind Sarajevo Grade Moj.

Happeningo founder Richard Medic explained to Netocratic his motives.

Unless he’s already sick, no man goes to a doctor just to ‘talk’, let alone have a finger stuck up his bum. So our message to men is this: your doctor isn’t going to come after you. Be proactive. Learn a bit about prostate cancer and then make that appointment to discuss cancer testing options.

The video was edited from footage of a live “happening online” created earlier this month, as part of Medic’s series of experimental happenings for his startup Soonfeed. He added that the total budget was the “10 euros spent on handcuffs at a sex shop in Sarajevo”.

Read the full story behind the happening, and how it led to a Movember message, at Happeningo.com.
