The first two droidcon conferences were organised by an international team of Android enthusiasts in Berlin and London in 2009, and have since spread across more than 20 countries worldwide. Each of them offers high-class talks from different parts of the Android ecosystem – mobile, TV, cars, gaming, you name it.

The Zagreb conference is organized by troido, Android software company and consultancy based in Germany, the Netherlands and Croatia, whose founder Miroslav Šimudvarac was among the few who organized the Berlin event:

When Google launched Android, only a handful of us believed in the system. iPhone’s iOS was going strong at the time, and some were sceptical about whether Android will take on. We got together in Berlin in 2009 , and we’ve been holding these conferences around the world ever since.

On April 29 and 30 droidcon is going to take place in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia and will offer a number of highly interesting tech talks for skilled programmers and designers, who make up most of its visitors.

This guarantees companies a great platform for presenting their work and innovation and it offers them excellent recruitment opportunities. The conference will also organize events like Barcamp and Hackathon.

Some of the planned main topics include enterprise solutions and security, connected cars, smart home solutions and wearable devices, and speakers from Google, Facebook, Intel and other global and regional companies keep pouring.

You can find additional information about the conference on the official web page.
