Czech social media powerhouse Socialbakers and Croatian ad startup Socialbrando have confirmed to Netocratic an acquisition in which the Prague-based social media analytics company is buying the Split-based ad platform startup Socialbrando to add its offering to its suite of social media tools, include a professional analytics package and "builder" app.
Bulgarian accelerator Eleven has cofirmed to Netocratic 9 startups it's investing in through its second batch that, unlike the first, includes far more startups from outside Bulgaria, including VetCloud from Serbia and Squee from Croatia. Eleven invest 25.000 Euros in each team for 8 to 10 percent of equity.

Travabled is a new Croatian startup that is trying to raise money on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo for their global travel and booking service, a Airbnb or Booking.com for people with disabilities. While ZIP is not an accelerator and doesn't fund startups, the news was well received by the local startup community that has lacked true support in previous years. Vox.io, web browser based VoIP service from Slovenia just gave Netocratic an exclusive preview of their Vox.io iPhone app that will launch by the end of the September. From within the app, you can make calls to your Vox.io contacts or to your phone contacts for a small fee.
The app organizes your contacts into two groups: All and Online. The All list will show all of your phone and Vox.io contacts, while Online list shows only those contacts that are online with Vox.io at the moment.
